Another beautiful time of sweet fellowship with the Maker of the Universe in His Word, you had to drag me out of my bedroom that year. My dear roommate and brother Justin Carabello would have to help me see that I DID have responsibilities and shouldn't neglect them.... haha
1 Corinthians 15 describes our resurrection bodies that will be given to us at the appearing of our Lord and King Christ Jesus, and boy, I tell you, it is a happy and exciting thing to hope for! All of my hope is in these Words. I began to sing this scripture while strumming with all my might on a miniature classical guitar owned by Justin's wife Emily. I loved that little guitar. I was singing that tune and lyrics all day and it morphed into a song of joy. We shall be raised in glory! We shall be raised imperishable! We shall bear the image of the Son! Hasten the day, Lord!
lyrics
The body that was sown perishable
It shall be raised imperishable
The body that was sown in dishonor
It shall be raised in honor
The body that was sown in weakness
It shall be raised in power
The body that was sown in the natural
It shall be raised in the spiritual
We shall be raised in glory
We shall be raised imperishable, Hallelujah!
We shall be raised in glory
We shall bear the image of the Son
Where oh death is your sting?
Where oh grave is your victory?
Praise be to God who gives us the victory
Through our Lord Jesus Christ!

It may not be a full-fledged LP, but All Delighted People is probably my favourite of Sufjan's works. Without an overaching album theme to tie the songs together, it felt like Sufjan was free to experiment on each track and give them their own unique sound. And because of that (and Sufjan's talent), every track on there is a standout track. Angkasawan
